Name, Title
Colonel Mike and Linda were customers of John Allman's Restaurant for several years and loved it. They had the opportunity to own John Allman's Restaurant in the early 1970's after John retired. It was quite a journey! The restaurant was located on the Kentucky River in Boonesboro one of the homes of Daniel Boone. A John Allman's day was declared by Governor Wendall Ford in 1973. Johnny was a wonderful and generous man who loved the Kentucky River. Everyone who visited his restaurant felt like family. His beer cheese was the hottest thing on the menu. It was created by his cousin Joe Allman, but made famous by Johnny. It is the best you will ever taste, guaranteed!!! No one left without buying some extra to take home. The restaurant was a favorite from state senators to river rats. Everyone in the state of Kentucky loved this little restaurant on the river. We are now retired and offering this great cheese to restaurants in Florida. We have lived in Florida since 1977 and want the beer cheese to become as famous here as it is in Kentucky!!!!
